Thank you so much for contributing to my funds for studying abroad in Japan for a year! I really appreciate your support in this life changing experience! Your support has been a huge help in making my life here in Japan so successful and inspiring!

So far in Japan I’ve been able to make new and meaningful friendships with the locals as well as other exchange students. I am currently attending Nanzan University in Nagoya Japan. I have traveled to Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo during my first semester and plan to visit Hokkaido, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka! There are so many beautiful temples, shrines, and castles here in Japan. One of my favorites being Nagoya Castle. In the photo I’ve shared you will see me and a group of friends I’ve made here, at Nagoya Castle.

This studying abroad experience has affirmed that my goal of coming back to work here as a school psychologist at an international school is achievable. It has also encouraged me to come back sooner and try to pursue a master's degree in a graduate school program here. There is a scholarship named MEXT, that I am eager to apply for. I have absolutely loved my stay here in Japan and cannot wait to do more here and make more lifelong friendships and connections.
